paranormal and religion

I was told today that being in a paranormal group was against god and a bible that we were calling in demons it made me see how small minded some people are just wondering who else has had these trouble with certain people like this and what there thoughts were on the bible and the paranormal!!

Well I know that in the bible it says that spirits roam the earth...u know how ppl are in the Bible Belt...I don't see how what we does has anything to do with demons...and I am not an expert but I do not recall paranormal investigators in the bible lol
