First paranormal experience

My first experience with the paranormal was when I was 10 .I was laying down to go to sleep for the night and reached over to turn off the lamp and as I lay there in the dark trying to fall asleep I heard something beside me breathing almost grawling . I turned the light back on and it stopped but as soon as I turned it back off it started again and last until I finally turned the lamp on and just keep it on for the rest of the night. I know it was not my mom or dad they were both asleep at the other end of the house in their room.I was in the living room when this happened on the sofa so there was nothing beside me that I could see .Since then I have had experiences with the paranormal thru out my life and with each experience I get more curious.
